Gringo Jiu Jitsu Membership Suspension Policy 

 

 At Gringo Jiu Jitsu, we understand that there may be times when members need to suspend their memberships temporarily. To ensure a smooth process, we have implemented the following membership suspension policy: 

 

1. Minimum Suspension Duration: The minimum duration for membership suspension is two weeks. 

2. Maximum Suspension Duration: The maximum duration for membership suspension is two months. 

3. Notice Requirement: A minimum of one week's notice is required for membership suspension. This allows us to update our records and ensure accurate billing. 

4. Suspension Request Process: Members must submit a formal request for membership suspension either in person at the front desk or via email to gringojiujitsuau@gmail.com. The request should include the desired start and end dates of the suspension period. 

5. Billing during Suspension: During the suspension period, billing will be paused, and no membership fees will be charged. 

6. Membership Benefits: While your membership is suspended, you will not have access to gym facilities or classes. However, you will retain your membership benefits and privileges upon the resumption of your membership. 

7. Membership Freeze Limitations: Members are allowed to freeze their membership for a maximum of two times per calendar year. 

8. Early Resumption: If you wish to resume your membership before the scheduled end date of the suspension period, please notify us at least one week in advance. Billing will resume from the date of membership reactivation. 

9. Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case-by-case basis, subject to management approval. 

10. Membership Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your membership instead of suspending it, please refer to our membership cancellation policy. 

  

Gringo Jiu Jitsu Membership Cancellation Policy

At Gringo Jiu Jitsu, we understand that circumstances may arise where members need to cancel their memberships. To facilitate this process smoothly, we have implemented the following membership cancellation policy:

1. Notice Requirement: A minimum of 30 days' notice is required for membership cancellation. This allows us to process the request and update our records accordingly.
2. Cancellation Request Process: Members must submit a formal request for membership cancellation either in person at the front desk or via email to gringojiujitsuau@gmail.com. The request should include the member's full name, membership ID, and the desired cancellation date.
3. Billing: Membership fees will continue to be charged during the 30-day notice period following the cancellation request. Billing will cease on the effective cancellation date.
4. Access: Members will retain access to gym facilities and classes during the 30-day notice period, as they remain active members during this time.
5. Confirmation: Once the cancellation request is received and processed, members will receive confirmation via email or in person, confirming the effective cancellation date and any final billing details.
6. Membership Benefits: Upon cancellation, members will no longer have access to gym facilities or classes. However, they may still be eligible for any remaining membership benefits until the effective cancellation date.
7. Rejoining: If former members wish to rejoin Gringo Jiu Jitsu after cancellation, they will be required to go through the standard membership registration process, subject to availability.
8. Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy may be granted in extenuating circumstances, subject to management approval.
9. Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases where Gringo Jiu Jitsu fails to fulfill its obligations outlined in the membership agreement.
10. Modification of Policy: Gringo Jiu Jitsu reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members via email or posted notices within the gym premises.
